Course Creation Pathways & Guidelines
Takbir empowers teachers to deliver high-quality course content through two flexible course creation pathways. This guide outlines the support available under each option and provides clear, practical steps to help you make an informed decision.
Teachers may choose between the following two options:
- Option 1: Independent Course Creation – Ideal for teachers who prefer to manage their own recording and production process.
- Option 2: Teaching Success Team (TST) Partnership – Recommended for teachers seeking end-to-end support from planning to production and marketing.
Option 1: Independent Course Creation
1. Instructor Responsibilities
Instructors choosing this option are responsible for:
- Course planning, content delivery, and structure
- Recording using their own tools and preferred platform (e.g., OBS Studio, Zoom, or Camtasia)
- Ensuring all content meets Takbir’s quality and branding requirements (Section 3)
- Editing the videos and embedding Takbir branding (logo, watermark).
2. Quality Standards
To ensure consistent learner experience, instructors must submit videos that meet the following standards:
- High-definition video resolution (minimum 1080p)
- Clear, well-lit visuals
- Clean and professional audio quality with minimal background noise
- Structured content flow with clear presentation
All recordings will be reviewed for approval prior to publishing.
3. Branding Guidelines
- Instructors must include the official Takbir logo and watermark in all course content
- Branding assets will be provided by Takbir upon request. Please contact: support@mytakbir.com
4. Cost
- There are no publishing or hosting fees, provided the content meets quality standards and is approved
- All production-related costs are borne by the instructor
5. Marketing and Promotion
The teacher is primarily responsible for promoting their course. However, Takbir will also promote the course independently through its own channels. If Takbir promotes the course and students enrol through its efforts, the revenue share will differ.
- Marketing support (such as graphics, promo videos, and campaign assets) can be provided by Takbir upon request. Additional cost applies.
- Optional paid advertising (if funded by the instructor)
6. Revenue Share
Each teacher will be provided a unique referral link. Revenue distribution depends on how students enrol in the course, after processing fees:
Enrolment Source | Instructor Share | Takbir Share |
---|---|---|
Via instructor’s unique link | 94% | 6% |
Via Takbir’s marketing | 75% | 25% |

- Takbir’s internal studio facilities (if available)
3. Time Commitment
Time requirements for teachers are minimal:
- 4 to 6 hours total per course (planning, coordination, recording)
- Actual studio time may vary depending on course length
4. Cost Sharing
- Studio rental and production expenses are shared equally: 50% Takbir / 50% Instructor

5. Marketing and Promotion
Takbir will provide:
- Short-form videos for course promotion
