Teachers Revenue Share

At Takbir, we believe in building sincere and impactful partnerships with our teachers - those who share knowledge to uplift the Ummah and humanity at large. Whether you're delivering live courses or pre-recorded content, our goal is to make your teaching journey rewarding, transparent, and supported.

There’s no fee to publish or host a course on Takbir. You are free to create and offer as many free or paid courses as you wish.

Payment Processing Fees

All revenue shares are calculated after standard payment processing fees are deducted. This means both the teacher’s and Takbir’s portions are based on the net revenue actually received from each individual course transaction.

Teacher Revenue Share Overview

Revenue is calculated from the final amount paid by learners after standard payment processing fees. The amount you earn depends on how the learner enrolls:

Independent Teaching Account - Sales through teacher promotions:

Teachers receive 94% of the revenue when the learner purchases the course using the teacher’s personal referral link or course URL.

Though you are creating your own course independently, we are still here to help you with Marketing and Advertising.

Independent Teaching Account - Sales through Takbir platform traffic:

Teachers receive 75% of the revenue when the learner enrolls via Takbir’s internal marketing efforts, such as emails, website, or platform search.

TRST Partnership Teaching Account - Sales through Takbir’s Teaching Resource & Success Team (Optional)

Teachers receive 30% of the revenue when they choose to collaborate with Takbir’s Teaching Resource & Success Team, which will lead the process to plan, publish, and promote their courses. Learn more about TSRT Partnership.

Co-Teaching & Revenue Splits

If your course involves multiple teachers, you can set your own revenue sharing terms between co-teachers outside of Takbir.

Tax & Payment Info

Teachers are responsible for their local tax reporting on their income from Takbir.
Payouts are issued monthly, or on your preferred frequency.
Takbir processes all teacher payouts via Stripe. To receive payments, teachers must create and connect a Stripe account.
