Teachers Revenue Share

At Takbir, we believe in building sincere and impactful partnerships with our teachers—those who share knowledge to uplift the Ummah and humanity at large. Whether you're delivering live courses or pre-recorded content, our goal is to make your teaching journey rewarding, transparent, and supported.

There’s no fee to publish or host a course on Takbir. You are free to create and offer as many free or paid courses as you wish.

Payment Processing Fees

All revenue shares are calculated after standard payment processing fees are deducted. This means both the teacher’s and Takbir’s portions are based on the net revenue actually received from each individual course transaction.

Teacher Revenue Share Overview

Revenue is calculated from the final amount paid by learners after standard payment processing fees. The amount you earn depends on how the learner enrolls:

• Sales through teacher promotions:

  Teachers receive 94% of the revenue when the learner purchases the course using the teacher’s personal referral link or course URL.

  
  

• Sales through Takbir platform traffic:

  Teachers receive 75% of the revenue when the learner enrolls via Takbir’s internal marketing efforts, such as emails, homepage, or platform search.

  
  

• Sales through Partnership with Takbir’s Teaching Success Team (Add - On):

  Teachers receive 30% of the revenue when they opt to collaborate with Takbir’s Teaching Success Team for content development and promotion.

Partnering with Our Teaching Success Team (Add - On)

For teachers looking to create high-impact pre-recorded courses with professional guidance, Takbir offers an optional partnership with our skilled and dedicated Teaching Success Team. The engagement includes:

• Planning, Publishing & Promotion: Takbir’s Teaching Success Team (TST) will lead you through every step—from concept to launch and drive growth, Insha’Allah!

  
  
• Pre-recorded Course Production:
  • Video production support at the teacher’s location (within the USA), or at our NY studio, or at any other rented studio.

  • Professional video production and editing.

    
    
• Visual & Marketing Assets: Takbir provides design and graphics support, including:
  • Course thumbnails and images
  • Flyers and postcards

  • Web banners and social media graphics

    
    
• Advertising Support: Courses may be promoted through:
  • Google Ads

  • Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram Ads)

    (as per budget allocated by the teacher)

This is designed for teachers seeking end-to-end support to elevate their course experience and outreach.

Optional Advertising Support

Teachers who partner with our Teaching Success Team (TST) receive free marketing support from Takbir. This includes:

• Creation of 15+ professional ad creatives (banners, flyers, course graphics, etc.)
• Campaign setup and management support
• Strategic guidance to help maximize reach and learner engagement

The teacher only pays for the actual Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad spend, based on their budget.

For independent teachers not enrolled in the TST program:

• You may run your own ad campaigns, or
• Choose Takbir’s paid promotional package: $1,000 for the first campaign and $600 for each additional campaign, which includes creatives, setup, and management. Learn more about Teaching account promotions!

Co-Teaching & Revenue Splits

If your course involves multiple teachers, you can set your own revenue sharing terms between co-teachers outside of Takbir.

Tax & Payment Info

• Teachers are responsible for their local tax reporting on their income from Takbir.
• Payouts are issued monthly, or on your preferred frequency.
• Takbir processes all teacher payouts via Stripe. To receive payments, teachers must create and connect a Stripe account.
