How to change email address

If you need to update your email address, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access Account Settings

1. Log in to your Takbir account at www.mytakbir.com.
2. Click on your profile icon (your initials) at the top right corner of the page.
3. From the dropdown menu, select "Settings."
4. You will be redirected to the Settings page.

Step 2: Navigate to Security

1. In the Settings menu on the left sidebar, click "Security."
2. You will see the Access Details section, which includes your registered email, phone number, and password.

Step 3: Update Your Email Address

1. In the Email Address section, click "Change."
2. Enter your new email address and click "Save" or "Continue."
3. Your new email address will be updated, but it will show as Pending until verified.

Step 4: Manually Verify Your New Email

1. After updating the email, return to the Security settings.
2. Click on the "Verify Now" button next to the Pending status of your email.
3. A verification email will be sent to your new email address.

Step 5: Confirm Your Email Verification

1. Open your new email inbox and look for the Takbir verification email.
2. Click on the verification link in the email to confirm your new email address.
3. Once verified, go back to the Security settings—your email status will now change from Pending to Verified.

Important Tip

Make sure to enter a valid email address that you have access to, as it will be used for future logins and notifications.
